After learning about Lieberman’s website going down – you could potentially call this “hacking”, but when you are under a large amount of traffic – as long as the traffic is coming from many different hosts, this would not be counted as a Denial of Service (DoS) attack. My gut (and amateur sleuthing) tells me that they were suffering from a underpowered server – not too little bandwidth. Continue reading →
